About Dion Sing
I’m Dion Sing — a consultant, facilitator, and writer with a passion for creating real-world change through practical, Solution Focused approaches. For more than 18 years, I’ve worked across community services, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), and government partnerships to support child safety, ethical leadership, and workforce development.
I specialise in turning complexity into clarity. Whether it’s helping organisations translate legislation into everyday practice, developing supervision frameworks, or building leadership capability, my work is grounded in a relational, Solution Focused approach that supports people to feel confident, capable, and connected in their work.
Much of my work has focused on supporting ACCOs to implement Section 18 of the Children, Youth and Families Act — a complex and powerful mechanism that enables Aboriginal organisations to take on delegated Child Protection functions. I’ve helped design and document supervision frameworks, operational tools, and implementation plans that are both legally sound and culturally respectful.
I regularly deliver Solution Focused workshops and training, helping teams and leaders build skills in purposeful conversation, reflective practice, and strength-based leadership. I also provide external supervision, team facilitation, and leadership development programs tailored to the needs of people working in complex, high-responsibility environments.
I’m the author of The Solution-Focused Supervision Handbook and currently serve as President of the Australasian Solution-Focused Association. My facilitation style is respectful, curious, and practical — always aiming to build ownership and spark change from within.
I live aboard a sailing catamaran with my family and work nationally and internationally, both online and in person.
If you're looking for support that’s grounded, collaborative, and focused on what works — I’d love to connect.
