I wrote this book to advance my commitment to improving outcomes for children, families, and communities. By improving staff wellbeing, increasing retention, while lowering burnout and turnover intention through improving supervision outcomes.
For over a decade I have been researching, learning and practicing Solution-Focused approach to leadership and supervision.
After practicing Solution-Focused supervision and leadership and seeing the results it delivers, I want to spread the word, to help more supervisors and leaders work in ways that empower people and brings out their best.
Solution-Focus provides us an organised way of thinking and working with people to unearth and bring focus to their solutions (what works) to overcome challenges and to excel in work and life.
Taking a Solution-Focused approach to supervision gives us the principles and pathways to discover solutions, empowering and bringing the best out of the people we supervise and lead. When we bring out the best in the people, it empowers them to do their best work bringing about change in their communities.
